Would You Like to Adopt A Turtle?

Help us help these endangered species today!

Friends of Virgin Islands National Park is totally dependent on donations and the support of lovers of St. John like you!  Our Sea Turtle Program aims to protect sea turtle nests, facilitate research projects, and spread awareness of sea turtle conservation in Virgin Islands National Park and its surrounding waters in the Virgin Islands Coral Reef National Monument. Managed by a program coordinator working with Park Rangers and funded by Friends, the program includes: nest protection, volunteer beach monitoring, research, and education outreach!

Last season we helped more than 2,000 Hawksbill sea turtles safely reach the sea!  Together we can help save a critically endangered species!

Your adoption certificate includes a special species information care card.  Should you wish the certificate to be made out to someone other than yourself and gift it to a grand child, family member, or friend, please contact Jennifer Stone at jstone@friendsvinp.org or 340-779-4940 she will be happy to assist you!

Add a cute plush turtle or a turtle tee available in our shop to your cart to complete your gift!

Donations of $500 will also receive an exclusive virtual meeting with the Sea Turtle team. Virtual meetings can be gifted to a classroom/school to help promote virtual learning!

Friends of Virgin Islands National Park is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and contributions, including your membership dues, are tax deductible.

Please consider covering the donation costs when you check out.  Thank you!
